CLASSROOM DIVISIONS

We offer small classroom settings with very reasonable teacher to student ratios. 

Average elementary student to teacher ratio: 11:1

Average high school student to teacher ratio: 7:1

Preschool and Kindergarten

Beginning with our full-time program for four-year-olds, students are introduced to phonics, counting, and writing.  Students learn to read one-syllable words.  Kindergarten students continue with phonics and reading, simple addition and subtraction.  Our students celebrate their achievements in Kindergarten with a graduation ceremony complete with caps and gowns!

Elementary through High School

The Piedmont staff is dedicated to prepare students academically and offers college preparatory classes.  To prepare students socially, PCS offers formal events such as Homecoming Court and Spring Social.  Music (including hand-bells), drama, and sign language opportunities present themselves with our annual Christmas Program and special chapel services.  Other opportunities to serve church and community involve Mission Projects and our annual Harvest Party.
